Does anyone know if with resale you get the benefit of early booking the run disney events?

Aiming to go next April and have hopefully just got our first contract (in ROFR now) and want to book the Mrs in for the star wars half marathon

Yes, DVC gets early registration to runDisney events. We did the Princess Run this year in early March before everything went crazy with covid. Not sure when RunDisney events will start back up since having 20k to 50k runners 1 foot apart probably isn't a good idea in the foreseeable future. They canceled the StarWars this year in April and no decision has been announced about Wine and Dine runDisney in Oct.

I was thinking for 2021. There are dates for the Star Wars one when we are looking to visit from the uK

Yes. Wine and Dine in November is currently still on too last I checked a few days ago.

The Run Disney event in Paris at the end of September has been canceled. It doesn't bode well for the wine and dine.

I had signed up for the Detroit International Half this year. It happens in October. I won't be going. It would be nice if they cancelled it and refunded registration fees, but if they don't I still won't be there. If I need to run a half marathon that day, I will do so through local neighborhoods.
