Hi

Just been on the restuarant boards.

There is speculation that MGM will be having a boy themed character meal starting in May/June.

For those of us with boys, this will be fab.

that would be great my oldest nieces is more into the hereos than the princesses (we got her te captain hook from wdw for xmas)

That would be great! we're going in December and im not so sure my little cousins would like the princesses lol.

I hope this rumour is true! My DDs (and my DH, LOL) would love this :)

Any idea where it might be?? H&V to have a character meal again or a different location altogether?

according to the US boards, it will be H&V at MGM. Apparantly a waitress told someone that she would have to leave H&V as she doesn't have enough seniority to do character meals!!

Have you noticed that a lot of the waiters/waitress at character meals are more mature!! Maybe this is why.

this isn't a rumor, it's a fact.
It will be a Toy Story character breakfast at MGM.
The auditions for the part of Sarge are on January 10th in Orlando, if anyone's interested.

woooo, where did you find this out? I spent ages looking for info yesterday!

the audition schedule for WDW can be found on the Disney corporate website in the career section.

The Sarge role is being auditioned on January 10th at the maingate office for anyone interested.

According to the site:
"Disney Audition's is seeking actors to portray the role of Sarge from Toy Story for an exciting, new character dining experience at the Disney-MGM Studios. Full-time, part-time, and substitute positions are available."

By the way, WDW is probably the nicest place in the world to audition. I accompanied my daughter back when she went through her series of auditions and we were extremely impressed by them. They are extraordinarily respectful, helpful and considerate of everyone who comes to audition. Truly remarkable in the performing field.

It's about time the boys got something fun! Mind you, my DD would love this also! :teeth:
