Now that Expedition Everest is about to be running, has anyone heard any interesting rumors of new attractions at WDW?

One "Inside the Magic" on Sorceror Radio last weekend I heard that there were no "new" attractions in the works (that they knew about) but there were talks about a new movie for Star Tours, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, and something else. I want to say the Muppets but that may not be it. The host was centred on these changes occuring in DL but pointed out it would be an easy change in WDW as well.

Ever since Star Wars Episode 1 came out they have been talking about putting a pod racing movie in Star Tours. I'm still waiting for that to happen

All of these need new movies desperately. The 3Ds need new surprises too. :teeth:
I do think they need to update alot of what is already there before they make new ones. Although, I can't wait to see what they come up with next :goodvibes

There are so many that I've heard, it is hard to remember them all, but I'll edit it down to the more credible ones....

There have been many rumors that WS is getting an "attraction" of some kind, and a log flume in Canada has been the most popular rumor.

You don't need me to tell you that WOL is going to change somehow. I doubt it will be torn down, so expect the building to be used for something new.

Not a new ride, but POC will change, and its only a matter of time before Space Mountain does as well.

Indian Jones's days are numbered and there have been many rumors that George Lucas will want to update ST

Do you know if any of these are real plans? ::MickeyMo

Nothing is real at this point.
MGM: They are planning getting rid of the Narnia display in a few months.
Indy show may be replaced by an Indy ride.
Harry Potter may invade MGM in some form
Star Tours may get the new pod racer movie....or something altogether new....including a new queue
Epcot: The sea cabs portion of Living Seas are supposed to have a nemo "ride" in it, possibly testing the "dry bubble" effect that they want to do with the Paris dark ride.
Canada is rumored to get the log flume, or at least get a new film featuring Brother Bear
Mission:Space may go through rehabs and turn it into something like TOT where you have different sequences.
HISTA getting a new movie.
AK:
Tarzan Rocks is gone....we know that
A journey to the center of the Earth world/attraction may pop up....but they have that at Disney Sea in Tokyo
A whole Narnia section may be added when the second movie comes out
MK: Pirates may go down for refurbishment with new characters from POTC 2. Including Capn Jack Sparrow, as well as new Ghost Pirates.
DL just got the new Rockit Mountain....Space Mountain rehabbed with new track and a new soundtrack...in the fashion of RNRC
Villains may still see some light in the park, maybe in the area where the old skycab station was in fantasyland....something along the lines of "scary mountain"

These are all ideas that have been kicking around for years. Some may come to be, most will not, but then again.......all of these rumors can be found on various sites like screamscape.com or coasterradio.com

The only thing I know of, which I believe is common knowledge is that Soarin' is going to get a new film. It will be Soarin' over the world, so to say, rather than just California.

I heard that they didn't have time to finish the movie before the 50th Celebration, so they just went with California. Don't know if that part is true, but either way, the new movie should be pretty cool. I great addition to an already great attraction. :goodvibes
