Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

I have never seen a Blog posted before 8 or 9. All signs pointed towards Blog info today and I think people got overexcited and assumed or hoped schedule stuff would sneak through. Let's be patient, wait for the Blog. Too many people sounding down because the schedules aren't changed yet. I'm still expecting this to be a big day.

I was talking more in general. I'm in the camp where I don't think we'll get anything today. I seriously hope I'm wrong and we do get something, but its hope that kills.

What does everyone have planned for this Saturday? Because we obviously won't be doing anything related to the River of Lights today.

Finishing cleaning and then waiting for my new bed frame to arrive! Have to take down the current one too and the dogs have an appointment for a flu booster shot. After 4.5 years of being married we are finally ditching the big Lots cheapo bed and mattress and upgrading to a king. I just wish it was less expensive!

Morning friends! I'm excited for a new day, but bummed that I will be at rehearsal all day and unable to check the computer (blog) until late this evening. I might try to sneak a peak during our lunch break, but may not be able to. Hoping for big (and GOOD) news today!

I've been following along since page 1, (only posted once or twice because I've been consumed with a new job) and I have to say this is the nicest most helpful group of folks! The roller coaster ride of waiting for RoL info has been stressful for all of us planners but there has been nothing but friendly banter and helpful tidbits all along the journey. I am holding out hope that today is the day for some concrete planning info from Disney because tonight is the night my Fastpass booking window opens for our AK day. I think I will take the rumor of today's potential info release as a sign! Good luck to everyone!

I'm heading out to MK to enjoy the last day of Dream Along with Mickey and hoping the rain passes in time for their last show.

I for one am still holding out hope that the call I got "on behalf of George" will result in SOMETHING today...anything would be good. After reading the exchanges last night, I have to keep reminding myself that no one has a crystal ball, and unless we have an inside contact that is the actual decision maker, or a minion of that person, we won't know for sure until/unless a BLOG comes out - or not. I'm taking my caller at his word, and believing that there will be a BLOG, but whether or not I will be able to actually BOOK either FPs or dining today, well, we can't know yet. Waiting is hard.

Off to a birthday party with little kids today... that and packing up our house - big move in a few weeks!

Have a great time at MK - saying "goodbye" to the show - we will be sad to see it go because our DD5 loves it - but I'm sure the new one will be fantastic and we will love it as well!

I kind of hoped to catch one of the last DAWM shows. But the weather doesn't look too promising. And I fell on Easter and the car ride and seat belt are still a bit painful.

So my thoughts for today go out to the fans and cast. Make every show the first, even the last! Dreams come true!
