Well, I'm kind of a dope. They had an opening for two, but I was afraid DH wouldn't want to spend the $, but instead of booking and then canceling, I decided to talk to him and call back. You can guess the rest! Still checking!

Keep checking! Wanyama Safari was one of my very favorite things ... And I've done a lot of them!

@dachsie that "George person" is the president of the Walt Disney World Company and I highly doubt he will ever see your email, they are pretty much screened way before it reaches him. You should call the guest relations person and see what he says.

We are 30 days away and today, my husband said for the first time that he is excited!

He was reluctant about Disney before it was booked--we're "nature people" and usually rent a cabin and/or camp for a week+ for our family vacation. He wanted to go to NC instead this year. But I have been telling him about different things we're going to do at Disney, etc and he's been kinda neutral about most of it--not negative, but not quite on my *600+ posts on a Disney forum in a 2 month span* level. So I am absolutely elated to hear he is finally excited about going!

... And then I made the mistake of asking, "What are you most excited about?"

"Rivers of Light and the evening stuff at Animal Kingdom. Did you get the dinner seats?"

When I can slip on to the DIS and see that this thread is only going up a page every now and then and not 20+ pages....it's a sure sign that people are giving up and or getting discouraged

Random question:
What is your favorite park and no fair saying some parks are tied or you like each one for different reasons...I know how tough it can be for some people (I am one of those people) but just for today, there will be no hurt feelings and just say your favorite park, even if it's your favorite by only a hair!

Oh my gosh! I'm laughing at your story but I think I'd be crying if I were in that position!! Fingers crossed for you and everyone else trying to get ROL reservations for the next 1-2 months!

I was just wondering how you knew this as I'm desperately trying to decide whether to change our ADR at akershus for a later time. Going in august this for me is probably more of an issue that ROL (although I desperately want info on that as well) as unlike the poor April and may people that will be sorted, although I may not get dining reservations! The problem of 4 tier 1 Fp+ and 2 visits to EP will be my problem.
