And they are using a wrist band system to get into the signing, so perhaps they will do something similar with ROL if nothing is in place before then...

they do the wristbands for popular signings, they have done it also with Ridley Pearson's book signings cause the lines were getting out of control, so I'm also hoping they have a plan in place for RoL

Also, hi guys. I've been watching this thread for weeks, just now had the courage to de-lurk. We arrive on April 22nd

We've never done the pin thing...somehow my kids have never noticed them! That pin might be the closest I get to ROL, although with only 1,000, maybe not!

@rteetz just posted on another thread that there's supposed to be a media event for ROL on April 19. Did we know that already? I don't recall seeing that before.

Makes more sense for everyone, like you said before, because then the line needs to be managed - better people go off and do their thing (and spend $).

I actually don't like the RoL pin very much. But the Mother's Day pin is adorable. We will be there Mother's Day and Aristocats is my favorite Disney movie!

I have lots of cookie issues with the Disney site (never with any other site, just Disney). Every few weeks it no longer pulls up AP info for me. When I click on the link to AP rates on resorts it takes me to buy and AP page. I finally learned it was a cookie problem and if I clear them all is fixed and it works right and shows me AP rates for the resorts.

Something else odd happened this week and again, clearing my cookies fixed it. So that's always my first stop when the site is wonky

I have to use IE (which I hate) to access the AP site. Nothing else works.

Aiiiii... yeah. I've got about 50 pounds of pins at home that my husband doesn't know about, going back about 15 years. I'm worried he'll see how deep the obsession goes and flip lol.

I think that at some point we heard that after the preview parties were canceled, there would be something like that on the 19th but just for media (and maybe CMs or something?), but I can't remember who/where we heard that. I remember because I was so sad about the preview party being cancelled!

Yes, same here.
I'm not talking about the AP site.
I'm talking about seeing AP rates on the Resort pages.
Sometimes, even when I'm signed in and can see all my reservations it won't show me AP rates.
I struggled with it for weeks before I finally just cleared the cookies for the Disney site and it worked fine.
It does it every month or so.

That's like my collection of mardi gras beads, lol! I decided to avoid the pin thing, however starting our last trip, I kind of started to regret it, because I wished that I had pins from our first trips to look back on, if that makes sense....

I just checked and April 10th is the first day you can add it to your itinerary. Not sure if that is the exact day it opens.
