Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

Do you have park hoppers? What times are your FP+ scheduled for?

Edit: And "watch" this thread, too! http://www.disboards.com/threads/new-guidelines-april-cancelled-adr-thread-read-1st-post.3460828/

Yes, we do have hoppers - I would pop in and do a couple of hours and change my FPs to an afternoon park, but like I said, not sure if I can get those times/attractions the way I want them another day. Plus it would just set off a bit of a chain reaction with plans and such. I know you know what I mean, lol!! Ack!!

Also, thanks for the link - forgot about that thread!

Well there goes my Friday and Saturday plans. I love planning but I'm getting so sick of it for this trip.
Stop changing emh. Post updated ak hours and rol showtimes.
Changing EMH?! Do you mean the new events for $$, or did they mess with my EMH days!?!?!? I've been so busy today I could easily have missed something...

Thank you all for the words of encouragement!! I appreciate it!

All of this makes me wonder, what do people who are not really paying attention to all things Disney before their trip - and I know they're out there - what do they do? Are they just blindsided when they get there?

Still trying to regroup...
You'll be fine you're keeping on top of things and are making plans accordingly. Those who fail to plan wait on 3 hour lines

It is SO good. I love Naan bread and I actually don't like many spicy foods, but I really only found one of the dips (2nd from the spiciest, I think) to be too much spice.

This photo should work, from our trip in November:

I just came back from shopping at Aldi and they have this type of bread there. I wonder how it is. Of course, it's different without all the fancy dips, I'm sure.

They probably are in a beautiful, ignore bliss.

My SIL went on a spontaneous 1-day trip with friends, one of whom is the daughter of a CM so they got in for free. The friend told her that it's a small world always has the longest lines because it's a classic, and that the hour - 1 1/2 hr wait for rides was typical (for spring break--yes, but when my SIL said she was coming again April/May she made it sound like it is always that way) -- also, they didn't arrive at MK until afternoon, then hopped over to AK to watch Nemo and ride 1 ride, and then hopped to Epcot for a drink and illuminations.

So.. I think they just assume things are how they are, don't notice that things have changed, etc...

That is our plan exactly! During our last visit to Sanaa, my husband and I decided that we liked the bread service the best... and could definitely make a small meal out of it! So this time we're doing just bread service and another appetizer or salad. (And drinks, of course!) Splurge for all of the toppings... totally worth it!
I would love to try Sanaa and a few other "not so cookie cutter" type places but I always travel with picky eaters. :(

I'm so so so so so sorry :(

To Whom It May Concern:

I hereby resign my post as family vacation planner.

Sincerely,
Carolyn

P.S. Not my fault. Disney drove me to it. :headache::headache::headache::headache::headache:

Does Disney typically switch EMH less than 30 days out?! And WHY switch a F/S one week and opposite the other--do you think they're adding those magical morning paid things to the days they switched over?! :scared:
