Well, I say, if it's not announced on the BLOG, it just can't be true...

No, I didn't speculate anything. Please do NOT assume. It was speculated by others on another thread. I actually tend to agree with you. Disney would only do that if it helped their bottom line and I don't see how it would. With Frozen opening at the end of May, as rumored, there is no reason whatsoever to open Soarin. But this is a thread on a board and I felt like passing along the info that I read somewhere else. I'm sorry that you had such an issue with it. I specifically said "speculation" so I didn't pass along anything irresponsibly. Geez.

I didn't assume and don't have an issue. You said there was speculation that they were opening Soarin' with the old movie. I asked who was speculating, who was your source. Speculating means to come to a conclusion with partial information. Knowing who is saying that could lead to more information or just lead to someone just saying stuff and getting people talking about something with no facts at all. You didn't answer, you just said speculating again. Given that the idea that they would run the old movie makes no sense operationally, it would be good to back that up with a source.

I merely asked where you got the information and all you had to do was link to the thread you now say you saw it on.

The problem on DIS is that it's like a game of telephone and comments get blown up.

We just went over our ADR's one last time for April & hopefully we don't have to get rid of Ohana (4 pm) for the ROL package, but if we have to do it, we have to do it!

Well now you're making me blush . Glad a lot of people seem to like it, didn't think it would draw this much attention. But I have a feeling they'll never answer my questions, even though I said please. I'm starting to think they really don't know what "soon" means...

Actually my original post said I read it on another thread. I mentioned a few times I read it on another thread. So I actually answered the question. You didn't ask for a link. If you had and I'd had time, I would've linked it. You should be a little more specific with your requests though it actually isn't my job to provide you with sources. I posted here what I read on another thread and specifically mentioned that it was speculation from that thread. It was my prerogative to do so. If someone chose to interpret that in any other way than I posted it, that would be on them.

That was my joke here as soon as I saw the blog, and I guess "very soon" did not mean today, unfortunately - but it's still Tar and Feathered for the win for me today! A classic! I'm still hopeful it will be tomorrow...

Excuse the multiple post - you know I don't mean to clutter - but why were we thinking that tomorrow would be the day? 30 days out? 31 days out? I'll be up anyway, but just checking. But we don't think we need to stay up until midnight? That's tougher for me!

As long as my 5/8 BOG at 6:35 is intact. That is the highlight of the day. (That's our princess day). As for everything else, I'll just roll with it. My problem is I absolutely positively HATE planning. This is driving me bonkers. If I had devoted this much time to school I'd at least have a Masters and graduated cum laude. Even with my pre park opening ADR I didn't assume anything. No one is obligated to let us ride 7DMT early, and Disney is prone to changing hours at the last minute, so I have fps for both Peter Pan and 7DMT although the mine train is not until 11 am so if we *magically* get to ride it early, then I'll switch it to something else.
The Disney site lists the hours for 5/8 as "Park hours Temporarily Unavailable". That was the night we planned to see MSEP, Wishes and Celebrate the Magic. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to get out a little earlier as long as we get to see them. As for AK, I will cancel if no ROL is available. That won't break my heart either, though I have 5 other people who will be disappointed. After this, I retire. My son can come down here and he can do the planning. I'm over it.

Yes, we can post pictures of what happens when a 30,000 visitor a day park only has 5,000 seats. We'll be back to our "people behaving badly" dinners. That's when our family (and extended family) gathers for dinner and we exchange stories about some behaviors we witnessed that day, then we vote.

We use the morning ones - the evening always seemed so crowded until the last half hour or so but we never lasted that long anyway. We are from the west coast so I blame the time zone.

Same here, we do the morning ones. We've tried evening, but at MK, they always seem to me MORE crowded than the rest of the day.
