I didn't assume and don't have an issue. You said there was speculation that they were opening Soarin' with the old movie. I asked who was speculating, who was your source. Speculating means to come to a conclusion with partial information. Knowing who is saying that could lead to more information or just lead to someone just saying stuff and getting people talking about something with no facts at all. You didn't answer, you just said speculating again. Given that the idea that they would run the old movie makes no sense operationally, it would be good to back that up with a source.

I merely asked where you got the information and all you had to do was link to the thread you now say you saw it on.

The problem on DIS is that it's like a game of telephone and comments get blown up.

And I think we've been reading the same sites, lol...it's been pretty common knowledge that the 3rd theater was opening soon - with or without the new movie. Plus it's not "official" until it's from the horse's mouth so maybe Disney will cough up a firm date for that while they're busy not releasing our RoL info

Forgive me- I got way behind on this thread and can't find where this began. What's this about Soarin' opening soon? Soon as in... early?

EDIT: And I just went back for the comments and was laughing so hard I was crying. Clicking Yes to Was This Review Helpful? for all but the last (which clearly stole the first reviewer's idea) totally made up for no new ROL news. Really, Disney, ROL has turned into a bad boyfriend, keeping me by the phone (and the blog) waiting with baited breath and he never calls and he never writes and I'm going to move on (after tomorrow)(really).

We arrive the day before you! When is/are your AK day(s)? Ours is 5/2!

It's not recommended on easywdw but we're RDing at 8 am, taking an afternoon break, then returning for the new evening activities. .... if they happen.

We'll be at Epcot on 5/2. Our AK day is 5/6. I'm sure you'll be fine if your RDing and taking the break. We're still deciding if we'll go back. Since it's our last full day in the World, DH doesn't really want to. If I don't get a dining package or FP, it will definitely be out of the question.

Oooh does the text on your ticker mean it's a surprise trip for your DD? That's so exciting. I haven't told DH but we're definitely going to have to go back to Disney after this trip because I'd really like to pull the 'surprise, we're going to Disney today' reveal on my kids some day!

We'll be at Epcot 5/1! It is silly, but I feel some camaraderie for the posters of this thread and think it's neat that we'll be at WDW at the same time, even if different parks! (Ignoring the fact thousands and thousands of nameless strangers will also be there haha!)

Yes! It's my daughter's very first trip and in celebration of her 5th birthday with DH, MIL, FIL, SIL. A month early... she's definitely going to tell people it's not her birthday yet, I know it. lol. She's caught little hints, like Disney mailers.. I told her it's just an advertisement, but she has asked if we're going.. I told her we will when she's a little bit older, but not anytime soon! (Soon is relative, ask the Disney blog!) I am so excited!

Just to put the $150 for 3hrs into perspective. I am attending a conference during our upcoming trip (reason we are going). They have two after hours events currently - one at Sea World and one at Universal. The Sea World event is $90 for two hours (7-9pm). The Universal event is $120 for 3hrs (7-10pm) at Universal Studios only. There is no food or drinks included in this as far as I've been told. They will offer food and drinks but you have to pay extra. The attendance for both events is supposed to be around 4,000. So if you take that into account, I think $150 for 3hrs isn't that bad - MK has more to offer than the others if you ask me.
