Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

Good morning all! I'm ready for another day of nothing!

If am this anxious for October, I CANNOT even imagine those of you waiting n trips that are right around the corner!!!

I'm in both boats. I've given up for April. But I DO want one for December! Between that and MVMCP dates, my planning is on hold.

Well, at the very least I think that we have all improved both our teamwork and stalking skills! Also, I feel like I've learned many tidbits along the way about how these Disney things work and are communicated, so I feel that will be helpful in the future! Like when I plan my sister trip...

And today I will get my head out of the sand, and face my very messy itinerary and try to make some sense out of it! That is my goal for the day - unless there is some info about ROL preview packages today, then THAT will be my goal!

Well, I don't want to brag or anything, but I was the *second* post on the thread, and I do believe I had very few posts at that time and was in fact, "Earning my Ears?" I've really blossomed on this thread, lol!

Just got the email that our magic bands have shipped. I'm hoping that I'll be able to use it at the ROL touchpoint, on the 22nd, our last night there. Come on Disney, I'm waiting...

Called this morning and got Maggie's equally ancient sister, Karen. Thankfully Karen was knowledgeable and told me to keep checking because it will happen any time now.

Same here. I'm going through day by day and making sure it makes reasonable sense time wise. I need to double check some FP+ too.

So what is everyone's plan for ROL and the nighttime safari since it seems that the safari will just be extended hours of the regular safari. ROL and then a safari FP+ after?

I don't know - I feel stumped because they haven't released the times of ROL. I keep checking to see if I can modify safari time on 4/22, but since the hours haven't changed yet, I can't!

same boat...I have a FP for 5-6PM on 4/27...no later times available.

Hey - just had a thought... if there are no bookable preview parties, and the Aprils all had t-shirts and were wandering around AK, maybe we would be noticeable and the CMs would ask us if we wanted to "follow them" to a soft opening??

In other news Night of Joy details have been released and BB is closed through saturday
