Not kidding--my husband and MIL have literally started groaning if I mention the word "Disney" or even vaguely refer to it.

He knows that I will give him the rundown every night whether he wants it or not - or at least what I feel he needs to know, lol - I say, "Today in Disney news..."

Dining packages

If FPs aren't released until 3/15, I will lose my on-site advantage Perhaps I could pay a "resort fee?"

It's cryptic code they may say "March" 15 but they really were saying 3:15. That's the time troops everyone's dialing and typing fingers, full on assault at 3:15.

Humm maybe they meant 3:15 New Zealand time, but what about AM PM, crappy maybe it is Military time. It's going to be a long night Mouseketeers.

EDITED: Sorry - too many early mornings - I meant our 60 day window was two+ weeks ago - today is 43 days out, so we're still ahead of the non-property folks FP window.

I was hoping to have the dining package reserved before 3/15 because that's our fastpass 60 day out, now I will have to ping back and forth trying to see how to get RoL seat, either FP or Dining package. Dining package would be my preference but at least if it happened today and I didn't get one I could have another chance at 3/15 on my FP day!! UGH

I know I've been stalking too long, because when I saw the post about 3/15, I started thinking, "They just want to throw us off the scent! They just want us to relax our vigilance and then BAM! they're going to sneak it on there when we're not paying attention!" Paranoia has officially set in!

I'm on the phone currently with an amazingly nice CM. She said she sympathizes with us because they keep getting changing information, too. She said they were told last week that it was supposed to be today but at 8am this morning they changed the date. Here's what she is telling me now:

1) March 15th ROL dining and FP+ will be available.

2) Preview Event Tickets will be available tomorrow.

Will we ever getting any rest -- argh, plus lose an hour of sleep with turning the clocks back.

that's the old one...they have updated it to only show Dinner at Tusker House for the 1st show

I do all of the planning for our family (and I mean alllll of my family - whether I go or not) but my DH has been very helpful this time. He actually woke me up the day someone posted here that CV was up for April. Yes he actually checks the DIS (under my name) whenever he wakes up. Our dinner conversation is rather comical - all about this Disney trip and how Disney is screwing with us.

I feel the pain of all here. It happened every year before Star Wars Weekends.
And for you that think that phone CM have the info and are told not to give it out, it's not so.
They have no clue what's going on, sometimes we know before them and then have to guide them in to what exactly to look for to book it.
Sad but true
The assurance of March 15th is good news, they usually release bookings on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Josh at easywdw mentioned the preview event on his blog last week. No sale dates were given but the event dates were the same as previously posted.
