I'm sure it's been covered . . .

1) If we are inside 180 days but our dates are well into July, does common wisdom suggest we'll be able to book soon or that we'll be waiting on the dates to roll forward from spring as they tweak the system?

2) What are the usual payment and cancellation policies for dining packages. Pay up front? Higher cancel fees? Or the same policy as other ADRs?

I'm there on May 1st Currently have a reservation for Tusker at 1:10pm wonder when available I should just call to change.

The dining package will be separate. You will have to book it and cancel your existing ADR.

Understand but hoping that if the restaurant is at capacity they may be able to move me over to the new package. Considering its a semi popular restaurant and we are only 60 days or so out. :/

You're best bet would to check asap it's released. I'm sure they're going to have it open later as well to balance the crowd

Disney Parks Blog states it's opening on 4/22. No info on dining packages. Live chat on 3/8 at 1:15 PM to discuss the show.

I'll just have to have my fingers crossed for some soft openings/dress rehearsals!

Our last day in the parks is on the 16th. And it'll be a year and a half before we make it back again.

It is going to be so awesome ! I can't wait to book the dinner package. I thought it would be similar to illuminations but I think it is going to be way better !

With the April 22nd date now confirmed/announced, the dining packages really can't be too far off.

Now I'm waiting on the Tiffins announcement because that's the package I would like to get (assuming there is one with that location).

I'm glad my 180 days has just passed, because I would not want to be worrying about it landing on the same day as these dining packages are released because we all know what that's going to do to the website.

Disney site says no dining plans accepted. Do you think that will change?
