FOUND IT @ArielSRLOk, so I just watched a review of the nighttime safari by AllEarsNet and it was less than stellar. Deb & Deb said it was nothing like they thought, you could barely see the animals, the screens with the sunset are behind trees so it just looks like trees are burning in the distance and you never get close to them.
I'm a little disappointed. They suggested trying it at real sunset time but I think that will interfere with the JB show. Ugh. What to do, what to do? I wonder if they'll do any tweaks to it....
Thank you!!!Here's the AllEarsNet one:
Of course now I can't find where I saw it....thought it was here, but coming up empty handed. Will keep searching. However, the gist was that the lighting from the screens was really bad and you couldn't see anything![]()
Good grief. It was staring at me the whole time while I was on the site. I was getting so frustrated, too!
HAHA! I just checked 6/4 and A&E is there and available to book.
This stinks though because I bet it means FEA won't open for my dates.....Early June just got screwed!
Ok, I just checked too, and they are available Sunday, June 5. There's plenty of availability. Then if I jump to Sunday, June 12, which is my next MK day where I'm using FP+, they're listed, but say no availability. That gives me a little bit of hope that maybe FEA could open for our trips???? Can't remember your exact plans, but if you have MK any time Wed-Sat, can you check those days and see what it says??
Also, the meet and greet and the ride could be opening on different dates at Epcot, right??? I'm only interested in the ride, we met the sisters on our last trip.
I checked 6/4, 6/5, and 6/9 - all of our MK days, and there was availability each of those days. Our Epcot days are 6/6 and 6/8 so it doesn't look good for me.Ok, I just checked too, and they are available Sunday, June 5. There's plenty of availability. I'm hoping the ride opens earlier!
Bad news: Someone posted on another thread they are available through 6/11.Ok, thanks for checking!
So at least through the 9th. Our last scheduled Epcot day is the 10th, can I only hope???
Hope you get more magical moments like at CP and less like the other moments.....Went to Crystal Palace last night for dinner and my DD flipped out over Winnie the Pooh. Warmed my heart!! The parks are definitely more crowded than we had anticipated, by a lot. We're at Pop Century and while the cheerleaders are a non issue, there are just swarms of teenagers who are SO loud. I had to call security twice on them so far because it's been 1045, 11 PM and they're still right outside the room screaming and carrying on. I was a kid once too, I get it but not at 11 PM. We also never got the pack and play we requested until our second day here, there was no clock in the room and we have found several millipedes and mosquitos. Just a lack of magic at our resort which stinks. Plus our servers at 'Ohana only brought over the skewers once which for the amount of money was just unfair. They said the kitchen was closed, so we were fine with it until we saw several tables on our way out getting more. I'm trying to keep optimistic but I'm not doing so well with it.
Haven't seen any buttons or shirts, I have mine on our backpack. Still keeping an eye out!

Believe me, I would've complained too. I'm glad we are at SSR which is supposed to be quiet and that the pack n play is already in the room. I did request a crib but will make do with the pnp if necessary.Me too! I'm not usually a complainer and even when I called security I was like I'm sorry I never do this but I have a 7 month old who can't sleep and DH and I can't sleep either and she was apologetic. Not having the pack and play after I requested it several times really bothered me. We had to make almost a fort for DD to sleep in on the other bed because by the time we got back to room she was out cold and didn't have another hour or so for them to get it to us. My cousin is also here and they didn't deliver her luggage until 2 AM. This has never happened to us before, we have never had an issue with a room.

You and me both!Boo!!! Oh well, all hope is not lost....maybe the ride could open before the meet and greet, or maybe we'll get the old Soarin' back for its rumored limited run. Please oh please just one of those 2 things would make me super happy.
So last night at Universal they closed Island of Adventure early for something called "Your Park After Dark". I wonder if that is Universal's answer to Disney's After Hours??
