Okay... I know this isn't going to happen, but I'm imagining the poor waiters and waitresses having to sit through hours of alien makeup before they can start their shift. For Star Wars authenticity.

I truly don't know! But I'm wondering the exact same thing. I don't think they'll have jungle book show FP tonight bc there is no announcement of show times (though I guess they could easily load the page and times tonight if they wanted to). But because they are supposedly loading the Soarin ones tonight, are they gonna load all the AK ones, too?? I probably won't chance it and will either stay up or set an alarm. Unless I hear/read otherwise before then.

I agree--I think Jungle Book is unlikely tonight, but I'm hopeful for a late Safari!

So, I would assume the hours for AK after July 2 will be at least 11:00? The announcement stated the late hours were until July 2. How odd. Why not say summer hours beyond that? Just to keep us all on the edge?

OMG I've missed 25 pages!! But for a good reason... just got back the other day from our Dark Side Half trip and had a GREAT time! I am still exhausted from running 22.4 miles and walking 33 miles over the 5 days!!

Most relevant here, I proudly wore my awesome Rumors of Light button every day and one CM ask what it was -- I explained with great pride!! I'm still following along with any developments, planning for our August trip.

One of the best parts of still planning for another Rumors of Light trip?? Hanging out here and talking about nothing with you guys, of course!!

Rumors button made a few CMs do a double take at MK today. When they asked what's that about - all I said is AK and each one replied with 'I know...right'. Concierge CMs at AKL were loving it.

Exactly. I have the feeling Disney doesn't know what will happen in July; seems like they're operating on a wing and a prayer these days. I have planned AK for the evening. I feel strongly that this park will be open late throughout July. If not, I have alternate plans for that evening at DHS. I have to say that our July trip has been the most challenging to plan. I just finished booking the rest our ADR's today, but with the way things are going, I may need to make additional changes. I feel like I need a plan B for everything!!

I don't remember if it was here or somewhere else that someone mentioned that rumor of July 4 being a goal for getting ROL up and running. Perhaps that's why they're only doing late night hours through July 2 for now? Who knows at this point!

I've just now managed to crawl out of my house for the first time in 2 days thanks to all the flooding. Luckily our house is fine but many others can't say the same. In more positive news I'm at 13 days to go until our Disney/US trip and only 6 days of work left!

are you in the Houston area? Been watching KTRK and seeing all the evacuations. Glad you are ok.

I do remember the July 4th rumour that was floating around. The blog sure made it sound like there won't be any ROL this summer at all though. Even so...why not post July hours? It's not like all the night entertainment will stop. I want to also do the Star Wars dessert party at DHS, but I have no clue if or when that will be released. My AK days and DHS days are up in the air at this point.
I don't remember being this out of sorts with my planning before. My FP window isn't for 3 more weeks, but I'm not so sure all this will be ironed out by then. When we started this thread way back, who would have ever thought we would still be discussing it at the end of April??!! Craziness....
