Holy crap!! Mid to late May blog update!!! I'm changing my plans for my June 30 trip!! I honestly doubt this is all going to be ready until July !!! Glad I kept my 5pm Sanaa adr !!!

It could be ready in May if they get all the issues worked out. They are at least going to try and get it ready for the summer crowds.

Wow! I guess the rumors were true that they just are not ready. I am shocked that they went so far as to announce a firm opening date, including Joe Rhode being on hand in the park that day.

Now I just get to wait and wonder if it will be open for my late-May trip, along with FEA.

We're lucky enough to have an Aug trip planned in addition to our short Apr one, so I'll still stalk for package ADRs, Tiffins opening, etc. Not as CLOSELY as I have been, but I shall still stalk...

Sorry to all my fellow Apr peeps -- wanna join me in Aug?!!?!?

I'm still holding out hope for August! We'' be in the parks from the 1-14th. I still can swap things around as I currently have 2 EPCOT day and AK nights(hopping) planned. I may just swap our dinners for lunches and then see what happens. I'm almost 4 months out and may still have trouble moving things around

I'm so sorry to all of the April/May folks! I love that they even used the language I predicted when I got into my pessimistic sure-they-were-going-to-postpone-it place (to exceed our guests' expectations... ). The one upside is that you now at least have some certainty about your trips and can move forward. Those of us going in June are still on the ride and the ride ceased being fun a loooong time ago. I hope we won't lose all of you all, as you are what has made the wait tolerable and, in many cases, even enjoyable!

I was just thinking that April/May has shifted to grief, while late May/June has shifted to uncertainty!

I was going to post this morning to start a pool about who we thought would see it first given our dates and the delay rumors, lol!

Well that sucks. Going to Universal and added in some time at Disney pretty much just for all the new things that were supposed to start at AK. I'm kind of bummed about it, but I'll still have a good time anyway! Maybe they'll finally have it all figured out by the time I go in March 2017...

Without or without it, our plans for our AK day May 5th aren't changing. We enjoy the park and have never had a problem filling our day from opening to closing. As I mentioned a few posts back, now all I want is the May park hours to be posted as I'm sure it isn't closing at 6 pm (8 pm is more likely).
