You're making 1 big assumption that I'm not sure I'd make right now.
You are assuming the Frozen ride and the Frozen meet and greet will be open prior to World Showcase opening.

Or open at all. Until I see guests actually entering these attractions, I'm making no assumptions whatsoever in regard to opening dates.

Hey all - I called in today about DME but asked about ROL while I was at it. The CM told me something that made sense. She said that the FP and probably the Dining Packages wont be loaded into the system until ROL is loaded into the system on 4/22. He said that's most likely when things will start showing up. Sucks for people who want FP on 4/22 tho. I am going to keep checking but she made a lot of sense.

I don't buy it. They did not have to wait on 7DMT to open to load it in to FP+. It opened 5/28 and by the first few days in May people were able to book FP

Not to confuse matters more, but how do you know you'll be FP+ing Soarin' at all? Or FEA?

PP doesn't say when they are going. If it's late in the year they will be open. If it's anytime before summer then it is a toss up for sure

And they will have FP once they do open.

Unless they say otherwise, I'd plan on it opening at 11:00, like all the rest does.

I think if it doesn't they'll have guests queueing for 2 hours for them to open. That really puts me in a dilemma though!
We're going end of August as well so assuming will be open.

I would hold off making plans to do anything in WS prior to 11:00 until it is actually open prior to 11:00.
Yes, it does make the most sense to open both Mexico and Norway at 9:00, leaving the rest of WS till France closed off.
But as we are all learning in regards to RoL they don't always do what makes the most sense.

PLUS...this whole thread started - long long ago in a galaxy far away - because we could see ROL times at Tuskar House loaded into their Menu times on our Android phones....I suspect that they are already loaded for dining, anyway, and just turned off right now....and I would also suspect that FPs are also loaded. Everything is just waiting for that big magical (and memorable) switch to be flipped!

I don't buy it either. They are able go schedule FP+ with their system, otherwise they wouldn't be able to turn off FP+ for certain attractions at a future date (like parades and fireworks) or take attractions in refurb out of the rooster (like Soarin'). So they could very well load ROL into the system and schedule FP+ for a later date.

I agree and I have been meaning to bring this up actually. My previous Disney trip was at this time in 2014. I was at MK on 5/28 and got to ride 7DMT that day! I had secured FP+ for my family of 4 at least a week or 2 before my trip. I will see if I have any way to check on the date for that. I know there were a lot of issues with the release of those the first couple days, but they were released nonetheless.

Ok, just trying to catch up with a bunch of stuff. First, what is FEA? My guess is something with frozen.

Also, on ROL, do we know for sure that there is a dining pkg that will be available for special seating for this show? Speaking of ROL, the only thing I know about it is that it will be in AK. Is it a one time nightly show (on most nights) similar to how F! is? Is their going to be actual seating, like at F!? WoC at DL does not have seating. As I said, I need to get up to speed on ROL. Would appreciate a quick lesson on what exactly is involved with it.

At the moment I don't need to do anything other than decide whether to leave ADR for 9.45 or change to 10.35. Think I'll change because let's face it if it doesn't open until 11 even if I go for earlier reservation by the time we get out most likely there will be a heck of a queue for it opening at 11. Unless of course they hold people back at entrance to world showcase until 11 unless you have an ADR in which case my 9.45 reservation would give me an advantage.
Why can't they give out information! Between ROL and this I'm demented!

Definitely UNSANCTIONED! but, I do have my $ leftover from my ROL preview party that is not to be!

The problem is, we decided to cut back on table service partly due to the time they take, so to do one at a resort and the travel time involved with that - he may not go for it...but I'm checking it out!

I know quite a few of you are planning to be there during those dates. He is updating his recommended parks for those dates. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but better to know ASAP I figure. You may remember that last week they swapped the Extra Magic Hours on the 17th and 19th. That means that Epcot will host a morning Extra Magic Hour on Friday April 15th. The Magic Kingdom morning Extra Magic Hour is canceled on that date. On Saturday April 16th, the Epcot morning Extra Magic Hour is canceled and a morning Extra Magic Hour at Magic Kingdom is added."

Ah, I don't remember hearing about the 17th and 19th change...but maybe didn't pay attention cause we don't arrive until the 23rd...
