Yes, but I've read somewhere (probably here) by someone (lol) that 4/22 could have been picked because of it's momentous standing as Earth Day and anniversary of AK, instead of "Okay we should definitely have it up and running with the kinks figured out by (date) so let's open for public a few days later, so opening date will be <>." AKA perhaps it was an ambitious decision made by someone who wasn't hands-on working on the show, and now those trying to get it ready in time and cursing the decision maker?

I'm really tired so I hope that rambling^ is at least somewhat comprehensible.

Still, Disney is not prone to picking a date and hoping they make it. Highly out of character for them. Not saying it can't happen but I do not think it will. I think they were sure of the date when they announced it. But, I am not sure they were sure of the dining packages or FP.

I had no idea what to expect from Disney ... oh, my two month anniversary on Dis is tomorrow(edit: in 11 minutes!)! I've learned so much since January 28th.

Some of the "regulars" here were even arriving the week of the ill-fated preview parties that were canceled and have given up hope of seeing RoL on their trip. Others even have an AK day of 4/22 and have no clue what to expect.

That would be us. Arriving 4/21 with a planned AK date of 4/22. I really have given up on any info being released. We are just going to have an awesome trip with or without RoL!

From the couch at the Rivers of Light Lounge...No ROL dining package for April 28, 2016. In other news, Syracuse made it to the final four. YAY! Also, I have to say I read the first post of this thread the day it started and have been reading and participating from the beginning. I love how different we are, but we have made such a lively and positive thread. Go US!

I am starting to shift from frustration over all the changes and odd announcements to sheer giddiness at my impending trip. My magic bands should arrive TODAY. YEARGH!

Also, I have to say I read the first post of this thread the day it started and have been reading and participating from the beginning. I love how different we are, but we have made such a lively and positive thread. Go US!

So I checked this morning for FP and noticed a change. They rearranged the order of the listings available since yesterday and every other day I've checked. I got excited for just a second thinking this was the day. Maybe it's getting closer.

Sounds like we are on the same schedule. We arrive on 4/21 and our AK day has been 4/22 all along. Fingers crossed it works out for us. I am making a plan B, just in case though. We will have a great trip either way I'm sure.

We got one set of MBs on Friday - the other set should be today, I hope. (We have two rooms booked). I'm also hoping we get our Magical Express luggage bands today. Have others received their DME bands about the same time as their MBs? I seem to remember getting them for my last trip sooner...

Our first trip package arrived this past weekend, our ME luggage yellow stickers... We go May 15th, I thought that was kind of early!

This is encouraging! I haven't received our DME info in the mail, either, and we're 26 days out. We received our first set of MBs on Saturday for the first part of our split stay.
