very rarely but they have.Does Disney ever announce things on the weekend? Or can we take a breather? I didn't get much work done at the office but hope to at least get my laundry done.
Yes, June hours were extremely late. I think they posted almost at the end of November and for about 4 or 5 days they only released a day at a time. Our 180 days was like Dec 7 so it was extremely annoying. The month before, the hours were posted mid month as usual.
Ok, yesterday I saw some posts on here about September and people saying they wish they were going. I tried to find it but is something going on in September? I'm going for a week then. Wasn't necessarily planning on going to WDW but it's pretty wide open.
The only thing I know, and this is by living here in Orlando for 18 years, is that every reservoir of water has alligators, of any size, and that's impossible to prevent. You can not make me sit close to the edge of a water feature, at night, and me being ok and comfortable with it, unless there's a gate around itwondering if AK's riverbank foliage/trees will be getting 'a haircut' with possible pathways added for folks to stand/sit.
possibly tie in these pathways as part of CS dinner packages ala DL
always thought it odd, no sitting @ WDW for fireworks
@ DL they are happy to sell you dining packages, premium one give you a padded butt rest upon which to flop on the the designated square foot of cement for a primo view...and you consider yourself lucky to have snagged one.
lol amazing how we happily buy it hook, line and sinker![]()

yes they can. If you are in Fl expect there to be an alligator in every body of water, I have a small reservoir in my subdivision and they come out to sunbathe during the day, feets away from parked cars...never thought of that(insert clueless northerner question here) do they climb hills?
swam with manattees in crystal river against my better judgement. tour guides kept saying, no gators in those waters. Didn't see any, thank God.
my kids were surprised by an alligator once when trying to retrieve a golf ball near a pond, had no idea a gator could move that fast.![]()
Nothing. But look at what DPB had for us instead this morning!! Yellowstone, anyone?!?

Yikes! I wouldn't of ever thought of that. And no, nor I or my family would sit there. If that was the only seating left, I'd head to the MK!The only thing I know, and this is by living here in Orlando for 18 years, is that every reservoir of water has alligators, of any size, and that's impossible to prevent. Maybe the alligators will only be there on nights they've been able to score a dining package!
I was up at 3 againI slept til 8am!!!
Yeh I remember my TA was very surprised because it was very unusual. I think that since then it's become a regular thing! Our 180 day was 12/8, I was right there with you!
There's a wall and it looks like chainsnow i'm hoping the seating area for RoL is well -designed lol
unless they are part of the show..."here comes the most realistic animal float"...I'm also from Florida and we've camped near bodies of water that undoubtedly had gators(have seen and heard them), swam in the ocean undoubtedly full of sharks... I've walked around so many snakes, pulled off ticks, saw bears (albeit "small" black ones) while hiking.
If there are large gators in the water at Disney, they're probably removed, and regardless they probably have protocols for any potential situations. You'd see them sunning on the bank if they lived there regularly. Unless you literally jumped in and swam in the water and a gator had recently moved into the body of water, and probably only if they felt threatened by you (maybe eggs or babies nearby), I'd consider sitting at the bank pretty safe.. they definitely wouldn't stay near a lively show.
woohoo! good idea, not sure even disney could put a magical spin on a gator visit. There's a wall and it looks like chains
