Rumors are true

Just got back from WDW, and the rumors are true, Timekeeper AND Carousel of Progress are open!

YEEEEEEEAAH!!!!!! That makes me so happy. Carousel of Progress is one of my favorites and a great Disney classic, a trip to WDW just wouldn't be the same without it.

That's great. COP has never been open for any of our trips and the kids are tired of hearing hubby and I say how great it is and too bad it's not open. They will finally get to experience it themselves. Thanks for the news!

I hate to burst bubbles but I am sure they are only open for the busy Holiday season and will revert to "seasonal" afterwards.

The way it was explained to us was that they will be open on a fairly regular basis while the Extra Terrorestrial is being revamped. I guess they figure that they could not have three rides closed at one time in Tomorrowland.

Yes, I heard the same thing...that they will be open at least until Stitch is ready to open. They need to have attractions going in Tomorrowland.

We were there at the end of October and both attractions were open. That time of the year is definitely not peak.

CoP and Time Keeper will be open every day only until Stich Encounter is completed. As soon as the new attaction is completed, the plan is to return to having Time Keeper and CoP only open during peak seasons.
