I just called Loews trying to get an RPR King Suite on the Club Floor for our trip in May. After being passed around a bit and on hold for a while, I was told first that no King Suites on the club floor were available (which I know to be wrong). Then, after being on hold forever, I was told that now the 6th floor of Tower 3 was going to be available to Club guests as well and did I want to pay $100 more a night for a King Suite with club access.
I said that it's more important for me to be on the 7th floor and so I'd forego a King Suite if it meant being on the 7th floor with the lounge. She said, "here's the thing. You could have a regular room and still be on the 6th floor with club access." The king suites on the 7th floor were blocked out for our dates (early May).
She said that Club had become so popular that they were turning "hundreds and hundreds" of people away (which I am quite sure is wrong, as we've never had a problem getting a club room, whether booked in advance or upgrading at the desk), so I'm not sure what to believe.
Anyone have the skinny?
