Rumor: Hagrids to close in Feb?

Some sites reporting Hagrids will be in refurb Feb 13-March 1st.

Seems odd to close during the Presidential week?

I'm very surprised that it would close during President's day week. I went to Disney during that week last year and it was INSANE, so I assume at Universal it's a similar story.

I did read that Hagrid's suffered damage during the hurricanes a few months ago (just like Jurassic Park and Dudley) so the refurb could be for fixing the damage.

It is listed on their website. If you check todays park hours/calendar they have it listed at the bottom in the Temporary Attraction Closures:

I believe it was Alicia Stella but someone on Twitter confirmed this morning it is closing due to damage sustained from the hurricane as it was still operating under a makeshift queue and had a lot of debris that still needed to be cleared.

Me too! I got to ride it in December, some consolation, but I won't be back until November. Now I do not need to get up for EE though!
