Yeah seems to odd to make the statement that all/most thermometers can be a whole degree above normal so I see your point!

I think that speaks volumes.

IIRC some of them are either higher risk themselves or have higher risk people at home, so I would give them a pass. If I had a high risk person in the house with me, I would be much more reticent about any unnecessary activities.

I personally don’t want to go until the Disney owned stores open, as there isn’t much third party merchandise that interests me (although I am really craving a Blaze Pizza). I figure on my first visit I will shop, and then get the pizza to go and bring it home to eat. That way the mask can stay in place the whole time I am there.

I was in the grocery store tonight, following the one way signs, lots of people were going the wrong way. One woman was standing right on the wrong way sign pointed in the wrong direction.

The "where not to stand" signs are so confusing. I am very surprised they are going to have them here in the US.

I just think of them like "no parking" signs. I know I can park along a curb, but not in the spots marked "no parking". So if I see a queue with these spots, I still stand in the queue line, just not in the "no standing" spots.

These are the honestly confusing compared to what I and everyone else has likely seen everywhere else where you stand on the stickers. I feel there are going to be a lot of people just assuming that’s how they work and standing on them.

I do think people can learn though, and just get more used to things. Our grocery store has had the one way aisles for a few weeks now and I have gone a few times and each time it is clear people are better about obeying they directions than the last as they get more used to it. Still not 100% of course but better over time

Personally, I think the DO NOT STAND HERE stickers are stupid. They should have stuck with the STAND HERE stickers we have become conditioned to in the US.

I was a little confused at first, but I wonder if it’s because the party size at Disney is likely to be much larger than the party size at my local grocery. At my grocery, there is just a line about 1” x 24”, spaced six feet apart, and you stand on the line. But I haven’t seen parties of six, or ten, or more, at the grocery. It looks like there may be room for four people between the Do Not Stand squares, and if your party is larger, they are encouraging you to spread sideways instead of front to back so the six feet of separation is maintained. Just a guess though. I don’t know what some of those family reunion groups of twenty or thirty will do if the spacing lasts long term . . .

Right this is what I was thinking too.

No matter how big or how small a party is if you stay off that sticker (and not beside it) you’re far enough apart from the next one. Trying to squeeze a bigger family onto one “stand here” spot wouldn’t work. Imagine the bickering between siblings that would occur.

There’s going to be a learning curve either way and the CM’s have their work cut out for them.
