Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

Whatever happened to personal responsibility? That was being said all the time in regards to Disney not making rules and letting people take their protection and hygiene into their own hands. Personal responsibility = while masks are required if wearing a mask in Florida does not work for you and you are worried about things like passing out, it is your responsibility to yourself to not go.

It is abundantly clear masks are here at least for the time being. I am confident they have taken all the “what if’s” into account and are still making the decisions they are.
So....is that the response? I see, so heat stroke is personal responsibility.

The opposite could be said, in that if masks were not required it is those attending the parks responsibility to wash their hands and keep their distance.

Instead you will have more people removing masks to eat, drink, speak to each other, touching the masks and then touching everything else which will spread germs more.

Not to mention masks falling off and landing on others, and the idea that masks in general actually harm your bodies immune system more than help it.

Just a little insight from another viewpoint to consider. If you don’t believe me, feel free to research or Pm me and I’ll gladly share more.

Yes this has been done to death. The opposite can be said. And has been said. And said and said and said...

Fortunately for us all Disney (and Universal) have made it abundantly clear they are requiring masks for the time being and people who take issue with that are free to not go.

Is what the response? I am obviously not Disney and cannot tell you what their response is to worries people have about wearing masks.

I don’t think they are jumping into this blind and are well aware of all the complaints people will have and issues that may occur.
So, I think this a question that can be asked on the level. There is no QandA literature that I have seen asking some of the basic customer questions that many have brought up about the negative issues with masks that may pop up. Perhaps Im not looking the correct place.

And FTR, I'm fine with rules, however its not unreasonable to ask specific questions.

I guess I’m not sure why they would need to address this publicly in that way.

Or “unfortunately” for us...

:)

In all seriousness, I hope it works out. It just happens to mean we won’t be attending.

Happy it does for others and hopefully some day we get to attend again mask free in a world that is much more unified and joyful.

I'm done streaming from citywalk, if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer, just tag me

Saw most of it - which was great to see. Not as many folks as I thought were there when you were, but I'm sure it'll really pick up. Is there a list somewhere for what's is open now and within the next couple weeks for Citiwalk?

It’s a shame about the masks, can’t even see the smile on my kids face or anyone else for that matter when enjoying the magic. Takes away the human connections.

Think we will bypass any Disney trips until the muzzle movement is over.

Good luck to those who brave it!

Tried my 2nd mask type today, one that literally is the tight neckchief you pull up (after the disposable surgical mask fail).

My oldest laughed at me, since apparently, my nose is too small to even hold this up if I say a word. She suggested a black ski mask...I laughed, and then I thought that option removes the need for me to have a nose that can support a mask. It causes other problems, but I guess if we're on the mask train, it's the one type that might actually work for me in a "long wear" period...
