That's cool, I'd like to take the family to the NC Zoo. Being mainly outdoor (compared to even a theme park) I feel Zoos are nice transitions into "being open" and good test beds for getting people back into large gatherings.
Are they offering a discounted price? Just curious. Not sure it is really needed, but with some "experiences" closed, you are getting less bang for your buck.
Most Zoo's are hurting financially. They usually rely on donations and ticket sales to operate. Some Zoos are supported by their cities, but even those will be hurting because city budgets are going to get slammed this year.
Please think about those zoo employees that are probably going to lose their jobs and Zoos will be left understaffed and the keepers are going to be frantic trying to take care of the animals that they protect.
Thank you, @AtlantaDisneyDreamer for understanding!
