I hate to say it, but if only wheelchairs are allowed, I doubt they avoid an ADA lawsuit. Someone will sue because it causes them inconvenience.
With all of these potential modifications, I think they are going to have a hard time avoiding ADA lawsuits. This situation is rife with potential ADA lawsuits.
And Disney can’t look to their non-US parks for help on this one. Any sort of perceived “disparate” or “unfair” treatment could trigger an expensive, even if frivolous, lawsuit.
I am a former lawyer, and wow, sometimes do I really hate lawyers. The fear of potential lawsuits is causing so many issues with reopening the country right now.
