I personally hope they take the SE refurb money and pour it into Guardians to get it open by May 2021! Keeps SE open AND gets Guardians open for my trip!Is there any news on spaceship earth refurb - still going ahead? I wonder if as cost saving it might get postponed indefinitely.
Don't forget the stiffling heat in central Florida. Masks and gloves?I can imagine a bunch of people in August removing their masks once they get into the parks, then only putting them back on when a CM asks them to.

Or, alternatively, neither of those things are required and they leave it up to attendees to take the risk. (Not saying they should or would, just saying it's an option). I think if they did that there would still be people willing to go without any kind of protection and just take their chances. OR, they implement these measures under the illusion of safety to make people feel better and the efficacy is suspect. Either way, we can all rest assured there is a large group of people right now behind the scenes working through the logistics/numbers/projections and trying to come up with the best solution possible, as quickly as possible, to get the business back up and running, and I trust that whatever they come up with will be the best option they could come up with (not perfect, but something.)
Yes. This is true. I am assuming that this will cut down on the amount of FP+ booked and thus lessen the amount of people at each ride. Controlled allocation of FP bookings, at least for June. I book my FP+ in 2 weeks for July 4th arrival. I will post how it goes after I book. And yes, we are still planning on going for our tripo - July 4th to July 11th.This is a complete rumor (I have only heard this from personal experiences on various boards/groups) - but I have heard people are having much more difficulty with booking FP+ for June (as in, availability is much lower and they are unable to get FP+ like they normally would).
Has anyone seen any articles linked to this or heard something more concrete than some random person on the internet? Just curious. I googled and couldn't find anyway.
I guess this would make sense anyway since it is pretty obvious they won't completely reopen like normal.
We are in the same boat! We are booked at Saratoga and just want to be at the resort, in the pool and hopefully get to eat at Diosney Springs a few times. If this happens - we will be happy considering all that has transpired. Although if they modify the park rides and water parks, I will expect an adjustment to what I have already shelled out.If I can get into the Poly with a lounge chair poolside with a Lapu Lapu I'll be happy![]()

well if it’s any indication, they’ve been closed since january and still areI'm going to watch and see how Disneylands in Asia open.
I'm going to watch and see how Disneylands in Asia open. It looks like they are going to make ppl wear masks everywhere except dining and have temperature checks along with the health QR green system put in place there. If that's the case idk if going to a park is an option.
Parks are still closed but Disney Town and other areas are slowly starting to soft open in Shanghai so I can 100% see Disney Springs/Downtown Disney softly opening as soon as non essential retail/restaurant dining rooms get the green lights to reopenwell if it’s any indication, they’ve been closed since january and still are

Just Shanghai I believe...full disclosure Carlye Wisel & Disney Food Blog are the sources I look at outside of the DIS so I know nothing from an official point of viewI know this is true at one location but is this happening at all the parks in asia?
We also need to remember that Disney does not have 100% control over those parks, so things will more than likely not be exactly the same, as well as the US levels of caution once things open up vs. Asian countries.I'm going to watch and see how Disneylands in Asia open. Not unexpected by any means but I doubt they have a firm plan that has been passed to phone CMs just yet.One of my co-workers called to book a VIP tour in July and they are not allowed to book any tours at this time. She was told that when Disney does open, it may be in phases and that Epcot will more than likely not open at the same time as the other parks because the majority of the castmembers were sent home before they weren't able to fly home.
