Rum Cakes in Nassau?

Mmmmm.....rum flavored teas??!! Might have to try some of those as well! Thanks!
Beware, they are addictive! They have flavors like pineapple rum, banana rum and coconut rum.

Can anyone tell me exactly where we can find rum cakes in Nassau? We will be doing the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day and I am hoping to squeeze in some time when we get back to pick up some rum and rum cakes before getting back on the ship. I am hoping it is not far from the ship. We had gotten some rum and rum cakes in Grand Cayman when we did the 7 night western 2 years ago and LOVED them!

Also, does anyone know if they have the flavored rums like they have in Grand Cayman? My favorite was the Mango Rum - I only had gotten a small bottle of it and hope to get a much larger one in Nassau!:thumbsup2:cool1: Do they have the free rum tastings like in GC? ;)

Thanks for any info!

There is a Tortuga store in downtown Nassau, easily reached from the pier. And they DO let you buy rums and rum cakes and walk out the door with. I bought 6 bottles of various rums and they packaged it for me to carry out and even helped me carry it to my waiting friends.

And to that other poster who is trying to get it back home, I packed 2 bottles in one of those "if it fits in this box, it will only cost $10 to mail it anywhere in the US" and mailed them from NYC post office to my motel in Seattle, where I picked them up. Worked like a charm.

Now, anyone know where I can buy it in Seattle? The website says it is sold in WA but can't find the names of any retailers...

Any suggestions?
Thank you!:cool1:

There is a Tortuga store only a short walk from the pier. They didn't have any tastings ( :-( when I was there but they did help me package my (6) bottles of rum that I purchased and helped me carry them out of the store to my waiting friends.
As to getting them home.. I mailed mine from NY to Seattle in one of the US Mail's "Pay only $10 and we'll mail it anywhere in the US if it fits in this box", getting 2 bottles and some padding in each box. Worked like a charm.

Now trying to find where they sell it in Seattle as am passing through there next month to pick up my next cruise... Anyone able to shed some light on that question?

Thank you!
