With all this discussion about rules---and how the breaking of them is ruining the "DVC experience"---I wanted to find out what other rules (besides 5 in a 1 BR) people would admit to breaking.

Here's a few concerning the use of the DVC pool facilities from page 99 of the BCV POS. I will abbreviate from the book.

1) Shower thoroughly each and every time before entering. (I guess that would mean kids too).

2) No floats

3) No running, ball playing or throwing objects etc.

4) No glass beverages, and you must clean up after refreshments have been consumed.

5) If suntan oil or lotions are used, a towel or other form of protection must be placed on the furniture to protect the attire of others who use the furniture.

The POS lists many other rules as well. How many have you broken?? Please feel free to admit breaking a rule that I did not list above. Like running in the hall.

Frankly, I bet an an E. coli O157:H7 outbreak at the pool would put a larger damper on your "DVC experience" than the occassional 5 in the 1 BR.   JMHO as always.

By the way I have broken rules 1, 2, 3, and 5, but not always intentionally. ;) :D ;)

Shame on me! Rules 1, 2 (my DD who is 3 wears the wings...they are "floaties") and 5. ;)

What about staying after hours? We stayed at the Turtle Pond pool after the closing time for around 20 minutes...guess we broke the rules then along with 1, 3, and 5.

Count me to the list of breaking the one about showering before entering the pool.

And while I never intend to break the one about no running, especially after a long day in the parks, sometimes it is a must with an over-rambunctious toddler(is there such a thing?)!

We're new members so we haven't broken any yet.

You want to know something funny about the five in a one-bedroom debate? I called Member Services a couple of days ago to ask if our daughters come over and stay a night with us at Old Key West for our March trip if they also need ID's for Old Key West(the kids are staying at the All Stars this trip - one daughter staying with her show choir and the other with college friends) Member Services told me to keep in mind that our night in the one bedroom will allow five in the room, but there is only bedding for four!

Saw your post little star on the other topic. I think they value family as we do. And I for one was glad to hear that OKW said that to you ;) :D We're all one big HAPPY :D :D FAMILY ;)

Not really concerned about the showering part, although I guess after a day in 95 degree heat, we might all be a little like "Flower" from bambi.

Just don't, well you know "Keep the P out of the ool.

Have a great weekend all.
