Rudest twins comment!

wow.. yesterday I got a comment about my twins that really hurt my feelings.. it must have been rude twin comment day..

Oliver (my fast one) .. strolled away from me while I was signing up for a class at the Y (we were in an enclosed but large room)... Reid stayed right by my side... the guy behind the counter goes..

"Clearly one of your boys is more advanced than the other"

I was shocked.. and I said.. "No, they are just different people" .. and so he goes.. "yeah, one behaves and the other doesn't"..

They are not even TWO yet... and besides that.. WHAT? ugh.. anyhow.. I just had to get that off my chest..

more advanced? what the heck! They can hear you know..

Yeah, that was rude. Your reply should have been, "Yeah, and you're ugly!" I know, it doesn't sound real mature, but I've always wanted to used that line.

I had this one grandma in the mall once argue with me that DD and DS could not be twins because he was bigger. I also had someone else tell me I was wrong and the baby dressed in pink was a boy and the one dressed in blue was a girl!

The best rude comment I have gotten...cashier wants to get their jollies of pointing out my kids are SOOO close in age..."So what is the age difference - with a smirk she says"...I say with a big smile "A minute!"

Everyone time I get a comment on double trouble etc. I just say, "It was a blessing...God only picks people who can handle it to be parents of multiples!". Then I add I'd have another set in a heart beat! And it is true!
