How long has the wait time been during Early entry for hotel guests for Radiator Springs Racers???

I'm anxious to hear the answer to that and what the best approach to RSR is. Go straight to the line and wait or get into the fastpass line before 8?

It seems that everyday is different. Our 1st time to ride RSR about a month ago ( as hotel guests ) was smooth sailing but today (our AP EE day) the ride was not running due to technical difficulties @ Early Entry time (7 am) & was good to go by 8:15 am. I feel that if you stood waiting for the fast passes this morning then you lucked out! Didn't matter that there were 2 separate lines at the gate this morning or maybe which side you enter the park (hotel side or main gate) but if the ride was ready to run on time.
When we got there I asked my husband If I should wait for fast passes while they took the first ride but he said "no, this won't take that long" but guess he was wrong. No big deal! Just have a smart phone to keep you busy or spend time talking. Maybe you'll get lucky & have just a short wait but you never know?

Here is what we did:
We were there July 14-18 and we stayed at the DLH. We took advantage of the EE on all 3 days that we went into the parks. The first day (Sunday) we used the EE to go into Disneyland and rode 13 rides by 10:00. It was me, my husband, and my 71 MIL and 5 year old son so we were walking at a slow pace.

On Monday we left our hotel at 6:30 am and walked to DCA. At 7:00 am we walked into DCA and decided to split up. DH got into the Fast Pass line with all of our APs and my MIL and son and myself got in line for the Racers. The Fast Pass line didn't move until 8:00 when they opened. The Racers were down until 8:00 as well. We just kept texting each other to see what line was moving first. DH met us in line around 8:15 and we stayed in line until 8:45. We rode it (LOVED IT):goodvibes the first time around 8:30. We rode Lugi's Flying Tires (15 minutes wait) and Mater's Junkyard (walked on) and then used our Fast passes. Our time for our Fast Passes was 8:55-9:55.

By 10:00 am we had ridden all the rides in Carsland, the Racers 2x and decided to go on Toy Story (20 minutes) and Screamin (walked on). We then went on a few more rides and then decided to go shopping and enjoy a yummy lunch. We had a great time!!!

We were there July15-17th. On the day we did EE we got to the main gates around 6:45, got in, went straight to RSR and the standby line was already 60 mins. The ride wasn't open yet, so I'm sure that's a factor, I don't think it opened until close to 8.
