RSR No MM entry Better Sat or Sunday?

We are going to be staying at the Grand Californian and be in the parks Sat Aug 4th and Sunday, Aug 5th. Since we only have a 2 day pass we don't get MM on Sat and EMH for DCA is only Mon,Weds,Fri. Since we don't get EMH should we wait for Sunday to do RSR? I'm concerned by being stuck behind all the EMH folks, we might not get a RSR fast pass on Sat? thanks,

The AP EE for DCA is Sat and Sun. Since Saturday is blacked out for Deluxe APs, it would be the better day statistically to do Carsland. Are you sure you couldn't upgrade and visit Carsland Monday Morning?

I was thinking the same thing- add a day (upgrade) and then you can have 7 am early entry to DCA on monday morning (perfectly fine to do on your check in or check out day). Maybe it's worth the time for the $$? depending on how much you paid of course, it might be about $50 to add on the extra day? Other than that, Sat. may be the better day.

I am confused. You are staying at the GCH? You get EMH every single day. But on Sat/Sun it is for DL. Is that your problem, that you want to go to DCA and there is no EMH? Well, in that case there will be APEE on both days. I am not sure it matters much which day to do DCA. Maybe DCA on a Saturday over a Sunday because Saturday is a blocked day for Deluxe AP holders?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Yes, we are staying at the CGH and as such we do not get EMH to DCA on Saturday or Sunday (its DL on those days). Going on Monday or upgrading to a 3 day pass is not an option as we fly out Sunday Night. Sounds like Saturday may still be the best best as thought we will be an hour behind all the MM early entry folks but they still can't get a FP until 8am either and the AP holders will be blacked out.
