With all the DCA changes no one really knows but it appears Disney plans to keep up with opening DCA at the same time as DL for the time being. So that would be 8AM or maybe 9AM. Check past October DL schedules.
When we were there Mid September the DCA opened 10 am during the week. I was in line by 9-9:15. They open the turnstiles at 9:30 and then headed directly to the RSR FP line. They open the FP machines at 10 am when the park opens. Most mornings I was through the line and had FP's by 10:20. My starting return times ranged from 11 am to 2:30 pm.
I bumped into a gal on the Monday that got one of the last 4 FP's. She was through the gates at 10:10 that morning.
We will be staying offsite this coming week and in the parks Weds. 10/10 (EMH for DCA ) and Thursday, 10/11 (NOT EMH for DCA! )....
Wondering this:
1) Will I be able to get RSR FP on Weds. (if we're at the regular gates by 8 AM for a 9 AM opening to the non-EMH people) or will the FP line be so crammed/filled up with the EMH people that are already in the park that I won't get a FP at all?
2) How horrible will the Luigi's Flying Tires line be when we are allowed in (9 AM) because of the EMH people that were let in at 8 AM? Would it not be worth even trying to ride it that morning? (should we just wait till Thurs. when we can open DCA with everyone?)
3) Should we just try to get our RSR FP and then abandon Cars land until our FP return time? (I'm thinking head over to TSM as soon as we have our RSR FP's in hand...?)
Any other thoughts/plans of attack for us non-onsite people?
I also have a thread about this, I am doing DCA on a day with EMH, but I don't have them. I am just gonna get there half hour before opening, and hop in the FP line.
