RRnR

Hubby went to see Heart last night and it was a 90 min. wait with three trains running. They need to just give up on the "magic carpet" if that's all the trains they can use with it. The wait times are no better (and often worse) now.

This past week (Sunday evening) we were able to do (my 12 year old and I) the single rider line at about 5 pm.. we got on in about 40 mins..

Then we rode it first thing in the morning on various days throughout the week.. we were able to get right on for 15 min or less waits..

It is a very fun coaster.. we really liked it..

One evening it was shut down for several hours due to high winds..

According to one of the team members that I spoke to.. they don't expect express pass to be up "anytime soon" with Harry Potter opening very soon..

We found that it loaded very well with certain employees putting people in line and not so well with others. There is one girl who does an awesome job. I don't know why it is that difficult. There does seem to be plenty of time to get in and out of the vehicle with the moving platform.

I went on yesterday, single riders, 10 min wait. The moving platform was working.

Agree.. on our last day there, the platform was working, and the employees were doing a good job getting everyone on and off.. it seemed to be moving smoothly.

We went last night as part of a convention special.

Barely any movement from the trees but it was shut down due to high winds.

remember that ride is pretty tall and the same way that they build tall buildings to sway, they build that tall tower to sway. It may not be high winds down where you are at but it is too high to make that ride work for your safetyl.

ok so if they don't have a express line for this ride yet, who's to say that Harry Potter will anytime soon?? We're going the beginning of June, so hoping for express lanes for these rides or I won't have a very happy hubby...

I think the general rumor right now is only onsite guests will be able to use Express and only once per day instead of unlimited for HP and the Forbidden Journey. And the regular Express passes will not be valid for that attraction at all.

The reason the HR3 doesn't have Express is supposedly because of the nonfunctional moving loading platform. It appears to be holding up the whole Express access line.

pheww well we're good then, staying onsite! Still strange that there's no express for RRnR though? I just know we're all getting pretty excited about this trip!!:goodvibes

The moving platform IS working. The last two times I've ridden, it's been moving. As for the Express situation, it's safest to just say that it won't have Express. Maybe in the future, but for now it'll be the only ride in USF that doesn't honor Express.

It seems they still have issues with the ride or something since whenever I do go, the platform keeps getting stopped and then started again later on.

Does RRR open right when the park does? I wil be staying on site so if other lines get long while I'm waitng at least I know I'm covered!:thumbsup2

It normally opens right when the park opens, provided there isn't any technical problems.
