RRnR

FYI, this weekend we got in line for Universal at 8:30 am, were the first people inside the park, and were able to ride RRR twice by 9:20am.

OH that is GOOD NEWS!!! I'm hoping we can enjoy it a few times during our upcoming vacation to UO for Mardi Gras.. I guess best case scenerio would be that they get the express line working... Keeping my fingers crossed, they have over 3 weeks to work it all out.

Anyone have any idea what the problem with the "loading system" is about? Why is it taking so long to get this thing working like it should? How long has it been "open".. since October? So here we are three months later, and it still isn't running like it should?

We were there in December. It appears to me they were shooting fo a continuous load type ride like the HM. Problem is there is much more to loading HRRR than your typical doombuggy. The length of the moving platform taking in to consideration the human element is about half as long as it should be. I assume they are working on a solution which in my opinion if they intend to try to make it work as initially intended would involve shutting it down to make the necessary changes.

We went straight to it first thing at opening and waited 45 minutes and went on immediately afterthatand it was and hour, to an hour and a half wait. After that it went to a really long wait time. The ride was shut down quite a bit during the days.

On the upside it was a fantastic ride :thumbsup2when working. I'm sure they will get it worked out. I hope for my next trip.

It's insanely slow to get back to the small loading/unloading section that they have. You creep along at a slow speed after the car in front of you has long since left.

I was there Thurs and Friday and saw the waits at around 45 minutes (Thurs) and 60 for Friday. Both days single rider was open in the afternoon.

On Thursday 1/21 I was there about 2:30 wait time was 20 minutes

On Monday 1/25 10 am wait time was 25 minutes

I went on the ride once, thought it was the bumpiest ride ever. I did not like it at all...

Rats... I like the lower wait times.. the bumpy news.. not so much...

I've gotta go when the crowds are low.:)

Well then.. here's to hoping that me and my family don't get 'bumped"!!!

Anyone know if they've added trains on this ride? It went from never being below a 45 minute wait ever since it opened (and even that was rare) to the past week being around 30 minutes most of the time and I just checked, the wait is 15 minutes. What's changed?

That is good news...hope they get the FOTL opened.:thumbsup2

They seemed to be loading a bit faster today.

I was there after school from 2pm-5pm and I managed 3 rides at separate times. I never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the single rider line and the normal line seemed to be pretty short and moving fast.

I got row six 2/3 times and the airtime is fantastic. :)

That is awesome.. perhaps we can get the express lines opened up soon :cool1:

Apparently, the conveyor loading thing is operational as of today. This info is from another board.

It's a Saturday at 10:30am and the wait is only 45min so they're definitely doing something different. Can't wait to get back on it!

And down below Satan and all his demons are shivering in the ice storm.

Yesterday and today the moving loader was working. We waited about 25 minutes around 2 yesterday and about 15-20 min. around 3:15 today. The line really did seem to be moving faster.
