Here are some pictures from our stay at the Singapore Suite in Tower 3 at the RPR. We had a ball! I have started a trip report on the Universal Studios Trip reports forum. Look for Disbug family of 5!

Wow. That must be one of those "rooms with a doorbell" my sons were envying! Thanks for sharing the pics!

The Singapore suite is one of the hospitality suites at RPR. They are beautiful and very spacious. I am looking forward to staying in one in a few weeks.

What is the rate?
Do they ever give complimentary upgrades to this suite? :teeth:

Yea! Someone other than me finally got one of these. They are so wonderful. I enjoyed taking that single bathroom in the suite all to my self. We also had the best view of the pool AND the Park.

Just curious. Is the Singapore Suite or "Parlor" Suite the same thing as a King Suite? What about the Hospitality Suite? I'm getting confused with all the different names. Thanks!

The Singapore Suite is a Hospitality suite. A King Parlor Suite is a King bedroom with a living room and bathroom. The Hospitality suite includes a dining room and kitchen. The way I remember is thinking "hospitality" means having people over for social events! :)

Thanks for the great explanation. Anyone know where there's a complete listing of all the RPR suites?

As best I know: These are the following categories of rooms at the RPR...

1) STD View Room
2) Water View Room
3) Club Level Room
4) King Parlor Suite
5) Hospitality Suite
6) Royal Suite
7) Presidential Suite

As a rule of thumb for pricing, starting with the price of the STD view room as a base... I would say add $20 for a water view room, add another $100 for a club level room or a King Parlor Suite, double the price from that to get a Hospitality Suite, add another $100 for the Royal Suite, then double that price to get the Presidential suite...

Does that sound about right? Someone more knowledgable than I may be able to fill in the gaps!

A few years ago Universal used to post their rates by season online like Disney does. I printed the rate pages out in 2003 and here is what the suites cost then. I would assume they would be a little more expensive now.

King Suite: $299

Hospitality Suite: $480

Royal Suite: $600

Presidential Suite: $1,400

*The prices for the Hospitality and the Royal only include the parlor. Connecting king or two queen rooms are seperately priced.

FYI - we have a King Suite booked for end of June for $349 stay and play (which worked out to about the same as the AAA room only rate of $296).
Does anyone know if the King Suite has a refridgerator?

Disbug, your calucations were not to far off. Using your formula I got $498 for the Hosp. Suite in August. Comparing that to RyGuy's price from 2003, that seems about right.

Sorry, the King Parlor Suite does not have a refrigerator.... the Hospitality suites and up, do... I believe you can request a small refrigerator when you make your reservation or at check-in.

I'm trying to remember if we had a mini-bar... probably, but we didn't use it. Instead, we ordered the small refrigerator for DD4's meds.

Someone else will need to chime in on the mini-bar! LOL!

Thanks for the wonderful report and beautiful photos. We just came back in May and already booked our December trip for a stay at the RPR club.

It was funny to read about your problem with the AP because my jinx must have rubbed off on you at the turnstiles!! After activating the PAP at IOA on one day, scanner wouldn't accept my PAP at the turnstile for US. Then directed to wait about 20 minutes at Guest Relations line. Find out that there are two APs under my name ???? so that deactivated both. Of course, the guest relations guy then walked me over to vacation club to get a new PAP. Took about 45 mins. or more to clear up this mess. In the meantime, my hubby and 2 childs already went through Shrek and Jimmy Neutron!

Oh, wow! 45 minutes?? That is a LONG time when you are trying to get ahead of the crowds in the morning. It's too bad they didn't offer you something to compensate... a free lunch certificate or something like that! I hope it didn't put too much of a damper on your day! :)

There is a mini-bar in the bedroom part of the suite.
