they do allow late check out depending on the situation.

i have used late check out before at rph.
no extra charge for it in my case.


if the day you are to check out has a high occupancy rate checking in, you might not be able to get free late check out.

talk to the front end manager prior to your check out day.
they will work with you.

i am aware of homies getting a one, maybe a two hour late check out without additional costs.

if you need a greater check out time, discuss it with a manager.


if you only need a later checkout time due to a night flight, you can store your luggage/belongings with valet and use the pool area room to shower and change before your flight.

Loews hotels are flexible and try to help their guests in any way possible.

Yep...we are going to use the pool to change and shower. We won't leave for the train until 6pm the day we leave.

my flight leaves at 8:45 evening time.

i check all my stuff with valet.


i do pack a bag and tie it around my luggage that is placed in valet storage.



what i do when i return to the parks later in the day, is to go to valet and show my claim stub.

i ask them to bring the bag that is tied in green yarn to my large suitcase to me.

that's my changing clothes for the trip back home.

once i change, which will be about 3 hours before i leave the hotel, i have valet tie that bag to the large suitcase again.

that way i don't have to carry around a bag of yucky clothes while i eat at jakes or the island dining room.

when i finally am ready to leave the hotel, i just pack that loose bag inside the big suitcase.

If the kids just won't leave the park in time...we can also just change and shower on the train. Not that there is a ton of room or that the showers are that great...we can get it done. Thanks for the tip...I will just leave my small carry on bag packed with a clean outfit for everyone in it. I have a flip flop bag tag on it for easy ID.

I have just requested a later checkout ,but only need 1 hour as we have an afternoon flight.
When we had a later flight the first time we ever stayed, we checkeo=d out at 12 , but we used the showers in the fitness center to shower.

Macraven you are a Loews member, right? I'm a blue level and can use the fitness center for free. We always leave our bag down in a fitness center locker with our swimsuits and change of clothes. They will give you a key to a locker and you just need to keep hold of the key while in the parks. The locker isn't huge, but will fit a carryon. This would just save you the trouble of going upstairs to the valet. The fitness center is a perfect place to shower and change with every amenity available. Oh, and we've used the Loews Blue late checkout also. Three hours late if available for blue.

i don't see many peeps using it though.

in case any hotel guest is worried about what to do with their stuff after check out, you gave them an excellent option.


i have done it before but i prefer using the valet storage.
that way, i can keep all my stuff together and have it close by when my car service picks me up.
i use the late check out and go do the parks until about 6:00.
come back eat and wait for my car service to the airport.
i try to book the late flights out.


when i posted how you can retrive a bag from valet, without having to go thru your entire suitcase, was basically for the ones that do not have the youfirst perks.

i have used late check out and have not had any issues with it.
the american express peeps and platinum loews usually don't.

use of the facilities in the building, requests for a later check out, storage of your belongings, etc.

Thanks to the both of you for great tips. We were allowed to stay in our room at PBR until 1:00 last time and then had valet hold our bags till later in the afternoon. Never thought about attaching a change of clothes onto my bags. We'll do that in October when we go back. I LOVE these boards!
