Hi. I just priced 4 nights in May 08 and there the Club Level for HRH and PBH are $200 more (in total) than the RPR. We are a family of four, with kids 10 and 7. Any suggestions which one of these would be best?

I have had a look at all the various threads and tend to sway towards HRH for the location and good reviews, but now with RPR being renovated not sure if the $200 is worth it.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Marvel,

Can't really help with your question, but just wanted to say Hi. I'm from Sydney and have just booked HRH for Jan, my kids are a bit older (12 and 14)and the HRH just appealed to them. I'm sure the experts will be along soon to answer your questions,
I don't think it really matters though, you will have a good time where ever you go.

Have fun planning:yay:

My kids were about your kids ages the first time we went to Universal and stayed at the Royal Pacific. They enjoyed the visit, but the next year we decided to try Hard Rock. Well, we have been back to Hard Rock five times and its my kids favorite hotel. There is nothing wrong with Royal Pacific, but once the kids see Hard Rock, there is no comparision. They love the music, rock and roll atomosphere, and the "coolness" of the place. The pool area is beautiful and the music under water is awesome. Plus there is a water slide. Its just a more fun atmosphere for them and we enjoy it as well. We are returning next month for a short visit. Some day I hope to try the Portofino, but I can't convince my family to try it yet!

We were at Hard Rock 2 weeks ago and we loved it! Kids had a great time at the pool with the DJ who had air guitar contests - boys vs. girls (hilarious) and other pool games, played beach volleyball, great slide! Loved that we could walk quickly to the parks and loved Emack and Bolios and having my Starbucks! Kitchen was great and the kids loved the Ipod Dock and flatscreen. The staff was very friendly and we will definitely be returning!
Hope you have a great trip, whatever you decide!:)
