:charac4: I know this is a little late, but this is the recent trip to USO/IOA
and just so you know, the DD is writing this. I am hoping to go into the writing field, and I need practice :)

THE CAST:

DH42(aka DD darling dad) a hardworking father. Needs to de-stress on this trip!

DW42(aka DM darling mom) a mother of one. Trying something new this year!

DD14ka me) ok, so this was my birthday present! :woohoo: and what better way to spend your 14th birthday in USO/IOA?

DBF14ka darling best friend, or Sam) a big dreamer. Her first time at Universal (and mine too, technically. I went when I was six, but didn't remember a thing:sad2: )

ON TO THE EVENT!

DAY 1:

Depart from PVD at like, 7:00 ("6:50")

We arrived at MCO around 10:00 or so, and it was a pretty good flight. The landing was smooth, unlike what we're used to here, as the runways are TINY at PVD:scared:

Checked into RPR around 11:00, and decided to walk over to IOA after checking in with our room. Mom signed up for Loew's friends thing, so check-in was fast and easy. We had purchased tickets from AAA beforehand (the $86 ticket unlimited for both parks 7 days). BUT...we only got 2 tix before, so mom and dad needed them. Well, the guest services line was SO SLOW due to huge groups and slow salespeople, that we didn't actually get IN the park until close to 1.

Sam and I decided on Hulk first, so we hightail it over to Marvel SuperHero Island. Well, FOTL ROCKS MY WORLD NOW! I love it so much, 75 minute wait for Hulk, and we were on it in like, 5. What could be better? The Hulk is the most AMAZING coaster I have ever been on. Better than DD, and I'll get to that later. Of course, Spidey was after that. Once again, 75 minute wait FOTL 5 minutes. This is the most AMAZING ride! I absolutely loved it.:charac4: Of course, RIGHT after we exit Spidey and start off to Toon Lagoon, it starts to rain. No, not rain, POUR. Thunder and lightening, the whole shebang. That lasted for about an hour. Headed for TL, and we had to wait a little while before Popeye was up and running again. So finally, we got on the ride. Well, they're not kidding when they say "wettest ride in all Orlando"! We got SOAKED! And, wet as we were, we went on Dudley Do-Right. It's kinda lame, but we enjoyed it anyway. The smaller drops get you wetter than the big one! Of course, we just HAD to do JPRA. AND we got the front of the boat! The box effect wasn't working, but the Ultrasaur was. Unfortunately, "She" was down the rest of the trip...we said "I guess the Ultrasaur died...". So, we all got soaked AGAIN. We had decided to try Conifisco's for dinner, but first, we went to Suess. Rode: High in the Sky Trolley (track that went thru restaurant), Caro-suess-el, and Cat in the Hat. THEN to dinner. However, the waiter was very slow, and ther service wasn't very good :confused3 Oh well. No time for DD now, as it is nearly 7, but we went to LC anyway for Henna tatoos. Mine was the Japanese symbol for "dream", on my right ankle. Sam's was "luck" and on her left wrist.
Anyway, back to RPR for the night, as we were tired and all. We were lucky enough to get the rickshaw people bacl :upsidedow these people are AWESOME and can carry VERY heavy loads LOL.

The BEST part of the day would have to be passing all the people in the huuuuge lines and them giving you dirty looks as you pass by them one...two...three times (not that WE did this, but it was still funny!) :rotfl:

UPDATE: tomorrow with DAY 2
coming up in DAY 2:
ROTM: our new favorite ride!
Jaws: are there ever any good actors? And why is this so lame?
Shrek: 3D magic?
ET: what. the. HECK?!
Dr. Doom: OH YEAH
Hulk: best at nite? Heck yeah
Universal 360: a night-time...
