RPR and Nick Hotel

I need a little help, and I think this might be the right place to post this. We went to WDW last year for the first time and really had a great time. We were thinking about going again this December, but now are really considering not doing WDW, and just going to Universal and Sea World. I really would like to stay at RPR, because it looks like a beautiful resort and also because of the FOTL. However, DS5 can't stop talking about Nick Hotel. He saw the commercial for it, and that's where he wants to stay. I am thinking that we could split our stay and stay 3 nights at Nick and 4 nights at RPR. We would do Universal while at RPR and do Sea World while at Nick Hotel. If we were to split our stay, should we do Universal first or Sea World?

We are doing the first two nights at the Nick Hotel and the moving over to the RPR for 5 nights. We are also just doing Universal and SeaWorld. We are going to relax and play at the pools at Nick. The go to RPR for the FOTL. I hope you have a great vacation. I can't wait for ours. Bridget

My kids would LOVE to stay at the Nick hotel too, but I always am ab;e to talk them out of it by pointing out that you can't get FOTL at Nick.
