I've read pros and cons on this board about RPR, personally I liked it very much

. Not to say that HRH isn't also nice but I had issues with check in and rooms not being ready and that sort of thing. Noone seemed to know what they were doing over there

. You know what they say about 1st impressions, sometimes they are hard to shake. Anyway, the RPR has a South Pacific/Asian theme to it, it is supposed to be retro, like 1930's or 1940's but I really don't see evidence of that other then an old prop plane out in the water. The rooms are nice and a good size, the beds are comfortable

and our rooms were always clean. They have a nice size pool, somewhere I read that it was the largest one in Orlando, but I find that hard to believe

. Sorry I can't help you with the refreshment pantry, I never use that stuff, way too expensive. I would buy your snacks before hand at a grocery store and bring them with you. Also one of Emeril's restaurants is there, Tchop Chop, that was excellent. It's easy to get to the park from there, you can walk it or take the boat

, either way is very scenic. I can't really think of any cons, other then if your room is way away from the main lobby, that might be a pain. We were lucky, ours were fairly close. I don't think you can go wrong, your already saving money. Have a great vacation!
