So I really want to experience Gideons cookies. Would it be crazy to take an uber from RP to the east end? I arrive at the airport before 8 am but they don't open that early so I would most likely gohead to my hotel and store my bags first. Will it cost me a fortune?

love the East End Market. We make a stop there on our way out of town (we usually have a rental return to the airport).

Some things to know... you can do preorders, way way more than the limit of 7 cookies at a walk up (need to do a day or two in advance at least).

It is a very different experience. Disney Springs has a lot of theming, and the theming is a nice part of the experience, especially if you have never been. The stall in the East end is very small... really just a counter, they do not offer coffee as there is a coffee place within the East End Market.

The East End Market has a decent amount of nice venders, so it is a little food hall basically... couple of floors We go there for a lunch and to grab some cookies when we head home. They just started allowing preorders of the coffee cake which is our fav fav fav.

You can check out the approximate cost by going into either rideshare app and setting the pick up and drop off locations and search. It will give you an estimate of cost. I recommend you to it for the day and time of day you plan on going so it is a little more accurate. Of course, if there is a lot of demand or something is going on, due to surge pricing, the price could change. But this should give you an approximate idea of the cost of the ride.
