RP-any specific room/area we should ask for?

Our family is staying at the RP in June and was wondering if there's a specific room we should request. Do any of the waterview rooms have balconies? We're hoping to get an upgrade with our Loews card-if so, what room would we be upgraded to from a waterview room?

There aren't any balconies at RPR. I prefer tower three, for us it seems the most convenient.
I also like to ask for rooms at the end of the hall. Even though it may be a trek to the elevator, they are a lot less noisy!
If you end up with a water or pool view ask for a higher floor. if you don't, ask for a lower floor, the view will be better.
Floor three is lobby level.

we were in building 1 on the 6th floor - great view!!! loved it! Now I think building 1 is the pet building - so that might not be what you want. (this building is next to the pet walk)

I would also recommend Tower 3. It is close to the pool and the water taxi. I think that Tower 2 is the pet section because I remember asking about it at check-in. We were on the 5th floor and the view was lovely. The only downside is that there are no laundry facilities in Tower 3 - you have to go to Tower 1 or 2. No big deal though...

We were on level 3 of tower 3 and there was laundry. We walked down the stairs I think 1 level. It wasn't real close, but wasn't too bad. I liked lobby level since we could use the stairs when going to the parks (we were at the end of a hallway). The doors were locked, though, from the outside so we had to use a different door when returning. If we go again I might try a different tower (1 I think) so that we could be closer to the parks with a little shorter walk.
