rozas family 3rd year trip starting today! 10/9/2009

Hello all,
i'm going to attempt to keep this trip updated. My wife (27), son (4, turning 5 in nov), and i (35) are headed to disney today. We are staying at wilderness lodge from today until the 18th. We did this trip last year in august (free dining) and stayed at polynesian. This year we head to wilderness lodge! yeah! We again have the free dining (1ts 1cs 1snack). Were flying out of new orleans, non stop on southwest to orlando. Our flight is delayed at the moment 55 minutes, which gives me time to begin my trip update.
Last year i didn't add any report to my trip. This time, i will remain dedicated! I've always gained so much from everyone's reports, so i hope you can gain from mine. Tonight, we have ressie at whisperin canyon. In the morning, were off to an early start at epcot. We planned this trip late, so we weren't able to get all the restaurant reservations we wanted. Last year, we stayed at the poly and were able to plan far enough ahead, that we were able to get every reservation we wanted. I pushed and commandoed my family to almost every single restaurant at the world. (we had the deluxe dining plan then and over-ate!!!). This year, we are going to attempt to take it easy (hmmm.. that's what i've promised my wife).
We've got reservations at coral reef (skipped it last year), and teppon edo for dinner. We were unable to go to either last year. If our flight takes off on time (keep your fingers crossed), i'll be able to update this report later. Wish us luck!! Also, if you've got any questions, i'll be happy to respond if i have the time. This is our 3rd year in a row to go!!

Hello all,
Our flight finally took off the ground (albeit 2 hours late). Still wasn't that big of a deal though. My son was ready ready ready to get to disney!! We landed at MCO and had no problem finding disney's magical express. It was a mad house down there though. There were tons of people lined up row after row at the rental car stations??
We were sent in the line to get on the bus immediately. We loaded on without any hangups. For those going to wilderness lodge, the bus first stops at poly, grand floridian, then the wilderness lodge. This was a great trip as well because we were able to take a look at the other resorts again. So beautiful. We checked in to online checking at the hotel. This was a breeze as well because there wasn't anyone waiting in line. I asked the cast member if we got a good room and she replied, "oh yes. Your on the 6th floor. Great woods view". (i won't book anything else but standard rooms as everytime we come we rarely look out on the balcony---if at all). Well, come to find out.. we have a beautiful view of the castle, contemporary, and fireworks. When we checked into our room, i walked out the balcony and saw we had a perfect view of the castle between the trees. I know that other rooms on this floor don't necessarily have that same view though. Also, we are the first room by the elevator. Really convenient!!!! (6034)
The hotel: really clean and classy. I've stayed at both the poly and animal kingdom lodge. It does look a lot like the animal kingdom lodge. I was worried a bit because of some horror stories i heard about this hotel. My experience so far has been nothing but awesome!
Everything is clean, detailed, and incredibly neat. I'm surprised, knowing how old this hotel is, it is simply delightful. I know it seems that i'm attempting to sell the place, but i am just impressed with the quality.
Well, were off to the parks this morning so i'll try to update later.

Goodness, a 2 hour delay did you make your Whispering canyon dinner? The view sounds amazing...I hope you take and post lots of pictures!! Have a great Day at the park! Look forward to hearing more.
