Are the Walt Disney and Roy Disney suites only on Magic and Wonder? Do the suites on Dream and Fantasy ever go down in price to somewhat reasonable or are they always outrageously expensive?

Contrary to other cruise lines, prices never go down on DCL except the occasional "Guaranteed stateroom" (run-of-the-ship) price used to fill the last remaining cabins or special limited rate for a certain clientele (like canadian residents on NYC cruises last fall). The prices vary from ship to ship and from sailing to sailing, but the price you see for a particular category on a particular sailing will not go down. They never seem to have problems filling Concierge staterooms anyway.

Concierge never goes on sale. Even your OBB does not include suites.

But, if your cruise happens to have unsold CL rooms and you score one at the port, you can get a fantastic deal.

I'm going with "always outrageously expensive". Staying in the Walt Disney Suite on a European cruise was on my bucket list and a few years ago, I booked, opening day the Walt suite for the first ever DCL Norway cruise. It was a massive splurge, but we did it and it was unbelievable. When prices were released for the next year's Norway cruises, I could have gotten a 1-bedroom suite for the price we paid the year before for the Walt. That's how much the suite prices increased in just one year and they just keep going up and up. I think the key, to get move affordable pricing is to try to go as off-season as possible. We sailed concierge on the Fantasy the last week of August this summer and the price for that cruise was certainly more reasonable than, say, going earlier in the summer or over a holiday.

A last-minute port upgrade during low-season is your only chance at getting a "deal". Subject to availability, naturally.

The Roy and the Walt suites on the classic ships sleep 7. That is what can help make the trip a little more cost friendly.
If you choose an off off season and a less desirable itenary even better. Bookinging it when the dates first come out will be the lowest prices.:flower3:
