Royal Plaza

We are booked at this hotel in July for 5 nights, I got a rate of $47 and I know they charge a resort fee daily. It was a good deal for us for location and the shuttles. I have read some good and bad reviews about this hotel. I would love to get some advice on the shuttle buses and the pool area or any tips to enjoy our stay. Thanks in advance!

now the bus system was 2 years ago when i stayed in Best western

you only have to share with the resorts on your side. one bus goes to mK and AK - the other bus goes to Epcot and studios.

now these are great if you are planning on staying at the same park all day.

if you change parks or if you go back to your room for naps - would recommend walking to the nearest WDW hotels and taking it bus to dd and walking back to your hotel. well for changing parks this is not necessary but be sure to get the number of where your bus will be parked from the bus driver before you get off.

Thank You Spicycat, but why do you reccomend taking a resort bus to DD and walk to royal plaza, (if we are going back to hotel midday)

well if you are at the MK and want to return mid-day - after it leaves the mk it will go first to the AK (which is about as far from MK as possible and still be onsite at WDW) - then it drives all the way back to DDH (which is way on the other side).

walking to the CR and taking there bus to DD - is generally quicker. then you have to walk back to your hotel.

this is just the MK - for the others would just come back on DDH buses. (okay would probably do it at Epcot - just because BC is much closer than the bus stops at Epcot) if you are in world showcase watching illiuinations fireworks+
