Priority Seating At Restaurants

Just for being our guest, you’ll receive priority seating at select restaurants throughout Universal Orlando Resort™.

how can i find out which restaurants and what does priority seating mean

I'm just pulling things out of the air and how I experienced things, but I recall being asked if I was a hotel guest at some CityWalk/resort hotels. I think it's a matter of getting bumped to the top of the waiting list, but below reservations.

I've found this "benefit" to be mostly on paper only and I never talked to anyone who has ever been able to figure it out. It doesn't replace a reservation...if you know where you want to dine, book a reservation. Though, even during Spring Break, unless people where sittting out the rain, only a few places (Toothsomes, Mythos) where ever full.

My experience is you have ask. They don't ask you.

Example from our last trip. We arrived at Toothsome's and it was packed. They said it was a 45 min wait.
I pulled out my room key and said we're are staying at Royal Pacific do we get priority seating?
They said yes it bumps you up the line. We were seated in about 15 mins.

I couldn't get a table at Toothsome for our last trip (we had to cancel our arrival day reservation when our flight got canceled, and all the following nights were fully booked) and I used the onsite text service to see if the Portofino concierge could get us a table, and they did, right at the time we wanted. I was amazed. I've stayed Club Level at WDW and the concierge has never been able to get us a table anywhere, I don't even trust them to pull it off in advance so I used to always book my own reservations at the 180 day mark.

That`s it in a nutshell.

We`ve had similar experiences as you, waits have gone from 90 minutes down to under 10 minutes on one occasion.

It is worth it and suits us as we don`t like to make reservations ahead of time.
