Hi Everyone - We recently stayed at PBH and loved it and would like to give RPR a try this time. We'd love a theme park view but can't tell from the options for reserving a room what that would be. Is that water view and you just request (and hope for!) a theme park view? Anything we should know? Can you tell me about the walk? We loved having the option to walk to the parks from PBH. It seems like the same option is available for RPR. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks so much!!

Yes I think it is at least 2 towers of the RP have a park view, you should be able to just request a park view and I would think that would get it, it worked for me the last time. Now this will be an IOA view, not the studios. I would also request top or next to the top floor to get the best view of the parks. And yes it is definitely walking distance, about a 7-10 minute walk. Its always better to take the boat in IMO, but walking is always an option with any of the parks.

We normally stay at the RP just to save a little $$$, but I actually prefer the Portifino and have stayed there 2 times. P is a little more plush IMO, but its really splitting hairs. RP is probably just as nice and has a very cool pacific tropical theme, which I love.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm booking this stay today and appreciate the information. The pictures of RPR are great and we figure for one night size really isn't a big deal for us. To be able to have two days express pass access made it an easy sell :)
