Royal Pacific: Construction at Islands Restaurant start / progress?

The resort told me the remodel construction of Islands Restaurant was supposed to start 0n August 15. Does anyone know if it actually started? Would like to use this thread to keep track of its progress, especially the noise level it creates by the pool & rooms.

The revamp has been postponed, so it is open for business now, no plans for immediate work are in place.
