We are traveling with our adult kids and reserved a room at Royal Pacific (for the express passes) but my husband and I are going to stay at the Hyatt House. ((we should switch it :) I know lol!) The Hyatt House has less expensive parking but the logistics of how to manage meeting the kids early may be an issue. Any suggestions on parking and meeting them?

Think it'll be quite confusing - you'll have to pay 2 parking fees if you move the car (unless you are parking in CityWalk with free parking from an AP?). It is very walkable, directly to the valet entrance of CityWalk. You'd go through security there and meet them somewhere in CityWalk, since they'd be coming from the walking path or the boats. It'd probably even be cheaper to Uber than to pay a 2nd parking fee.

Note you'll have to pay the "extra adult" fees on the RP room in order to get the room keys for the EP.

I was going to say the same - walk or Uber.

Several years ago Uber added a fee for pickups at the garage? I think. If Ubering it maybe easier to just meet them at RPR.

Thank you! It looks as if it is a mile. I did reserve Royal Pacific with points but put in 4 adults so hopefully the express passes are valid :)

I've walked from the Holiday Inn that looks like it is in that same parking area as the Hyatt House from the map - it's not a super short walk, but it's not too bad. A meal at CityWalk will recharge you when the walk is more daunting after a full park day (ask me how I know).

There's a new pedestrian bridge over the major road, then after that it's all a nice safe lighted landscaped sidewalk. You'll see other people walking it to those hotels.

If the hotel has a shuttle, you could grab that too, but it would not be early enough for early entry if that's the goal.
