Just booked a few things for our February 2023 cruise, 7 nights on the Fantasy. I can see that the Royal Gathering will be held on Day 2, 4, and 6, and that we can book it in January.

Does anybody know what time(s) of day the Royal Gathering is generally held? Morning, afternoon, evening...? We'd prefer to line up our daughter's BBB appointment ahead of the Royal Gathering, if possible.

Additionally, when signing up for BBB it says masks are required by all (regardless of vaccination) and that no make-up is applied. I assume this is outdated language?

Our girls did BBB on the wonder in august we wore masks just because all fairy godmothers had them on too. We’ve done it 2x pre Covid and this time they did everything as before hair, makeup, and nails. They give the girls all of it to keep in a bag afterwards. I prefer booking them at 11am on formal night. It gives you a big bang for your buck. We have not done the tea but it is usually done in early afternoon.

For my December Dream cruise, I booked 9:15am Royal Gathering. I can’t remember what other options were….but i can’t see it now coz all sold out.
We booked BBB in late afternoon on the 1st sea day, then Royal Gathering on 2nd sea day. This way at least our kid can dress up in nice costume from BBB.

I have 2 cruises next month. One has a 10am appt and the second has a 9:15am. Pretty sure there were several times later than 10am, because I booked right at midnight on opening day. I did not look at all of them, because 10am was perfect and I wanted to grab it as fast as possible. Did not book the second cruise until I woke up in the morning it opened. The only times left were 9am and 9:15am on the last sea day.

If you book right at midnight, you could easily get an appt at BBB that let you eat breakfast and make the appt before your Royal Gathering.

*I wasn't going to do the gathering on the second ship since we got it for the first, but I decided to do it in case it has different princesses or we run out of time at the first one to see them all.
